Are you passionate about adult learning, accessibility and
empowering people through education?

We are seeking a Facilitator & Content Developer to
design and deliver engaging, accessible and evidence-informed training for
people with disability, organisations and community stakeholders. This is an
exciting opportunity to combine your facilitation expertise with instructional
design skills to create meaningful learning experiences that drive inclusion
and social change.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Projects and Training,
you will collaborate with people with disability, subject matter experts,
clients and colleagues to identify learning needs and develop high-quality
training solutions. You'll facilitate face-to-face, virtual and blended
learning programs while continuously improving content through evaluation and
feedback.

Key responsibilities include:

Learning Content Development

• Design
  and develop engaging, accessible learning resources and training
  materials.
• Create
  facilitator guides, participant resources, case studies and presentations.
• Adapt
  content for different audiences and delivery formats.
• Ensure
  content reflects disability rights, lived experience, adult learning
  principles and best practice.

Training and Facilitation

• Deliver
  impactful face-to-face, online and blended training programs.
• Create
  inclusive learning environments that support diverse communication and
  learning needs.
• Facilitate
  sensitive and complex discussions with confidence and professionalism.
• Respond
  to participant access requirements and model disability-equitable and
  culturally safe practice.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Program Coordination

• Work
  closely with clients, people with disability and subject matter experts.
• Coordinate
  training logistics, resources and accessibility requirements.
• Evaluate
  program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Maintain
  accurate records and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential

• Lived
  experience of disability.
• Experience
  developing engaging and accessible learning content for adult learners.
• Experience
  facilitating face-to-face and online training.
• Strong
  understanding of adult learning principles.
• Exceptional
  communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into
  plain language.
• Demonstrated
  ability to adapt training and facilitation approaches to diverse
  audiences.
• Strong
  stakeholder engagement, planning and organisational skills.
• Confidence
  using virtual training platforms, presentation software, learning
  management systems and other digital tools.
• Willingness
  to undertake occasional overnight and interstate travel.

Desirable

• Certificate
  IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
• Qualifications
  in adult learning, facilitation, disability studies, communications or a
  related discipline.
• Experience
  in disability rights, advocacy or disability inclusion.
• Experience
  developing eLearning content using tools such as Articulate.
• Experience
  evaluating learning programs and incorporating findings into improved
  practice.
