Facilitator – Girl Champions & Youth Clubs


Location : Deoghar and Dumka - Jharkhand

Role Overview


As the Facilitator at QUEST Alliance, the individual will support the programme team in strengthening Girl Champions and Youth Clubs (Future Skills Clubs) in the selected 8 Blocks of Deoghar and Dumka (Deoghar, Madhupur, Devipur, Palajori , Dumka , Jama,Masaliya , Jarmundi) in Jharkhand.


The facilitator will be responsible for on-ground implementation, mentoring Girl Champions, and ensuring effective functioning of 25 Youth Clubs. The role will focus on enabling adolescent girls (15–23 years) to build confidence, explore career pathways, and become leaders in their communities.


The facilitator will also support donor visits, field exposure, and showcasing program impact.


He/She will be reporting to the Program officer .


Key Roles and Responsibilities:


Programme Implementation


  • Support

    25 Youth Clubs

    to ensure smooth functioning and engagement Through regular field visit and Virtual engagement .


  • Mentor and guide

    Girl Champions

    to lead club sessions and activities independently


  • Conduct and support sessions on:


    • Curriculum


    • Career awareness and pathway building


    • Digital and future skills


    • Change projects (community problem-solving)


    • Career exposure activities (visits, talks, market scans)


    • Community campaigns and engagement


  • Support re-engagement of out-of-school and at-risk girls into learning pathways


  • Ensure clubs are safe, inclusive, and active spaces for girls


  • Provide support in organizing programme events, exposure visits, and community-level activities


  • Identify and nurture Girl Champions as peer leaders and role models


  • Lead te capacity building of the Girl champions design and execution


  • Ensure timely programme implementation and achievement of key indicators


  • Capture stories and journeys of Girl Champions and adolescents


Relationship Management


  • Build strong relationships with:


    • Girls and adolescents


    • Parents and community members


    • Local leaders


  • Coordinate with:


    • Government stakeholders


    • Schools and institutions


    • CSOs and local partners


  • Conduct regular community meetings and home visits to ensure participation and retention of girls


  • Support in organizing Mothers meet/ parent meetings and community interactions


  • Maintain regular follow-ups with Girl Champions and adolescents on their progress


  • Act as an

    ecosystem connector

    , linking girls to education, skilling, and livelihood opportunities


Monitoring and Evaluation


  • Collect and maintain data on:


    • Girl participation and engagement


    • Club activities and outcomes


    • Individual girl journeys and pathways


  • Develop and follow monthly and weekly work plans for clubs


  • Support programme teams in monitoring, evaluations, and surveys


  • Document:


    • Case studies


    • Success stories


    • Photos and videos of activities


  • Ensure timely data entry in prescribed M&E tools


Donor and Exposure Support


  • Support planning and coordination of

    donor visits and field immersions


  • Present programme activities, outcomes, and impact during visits


  • Ensure smooth coordination and documentation during donor engagements


  • Prepare Girl Champions and clubs to showcase their work and journeys during district level events


Adherence to Systems and Processes


  • Adhere to all

    finance, HR, and organizational policies


  • Uphold the

    values of QUEST Alliance


  • Ensure timely reporting and compliance with programme processes


Investment in Self-Learning


  • Identify personal development needs and set learning goals


  • Take ownership of learning and professional growth


  • Actively participate in trainings and capacity-building sessions


  • Continuously improve facilitation, mentoring, and community engagement skills

Salary:


The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 25,000/- per month (cost to company)

Required Skills & Experience::


  • 2–5 years of experience in:


    • Community-based programmes


    • Youth/adolescent engagement


    • Education, gender, or livelihood programmes


  • Minimum education: Graduate /Post graduate preferred


  • Strong

    facilitation, communication, and mentoring skills
