
General Purpose of Job
The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the Edfinancial Services facilities, performing printing and other mailroom activities, and coordinating with outside contractors or vendors for various services. Since this is an essential role within our
operations, consistent attendance is mandatory; candidates must be prepared and able to report for all scheduled shifts regardless of snow or seasonal weather. The technician must be mechanically inclined and is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting multiple mechanical and electrical devices such as mail folders/inserters, postage meters, ice makers, diesel generators, climate control systems, and light fixtures. The technician is responsible to learn and understand the
scope of all work required and communicates any potential issues when necessary to ensure all parties are kept aware of possible risks that may occur.
