Family and Community Engagement Specialist (FACES) - Somali Speaking Position
The FACES at Jefferson Elementary School serves as a vital liaison between students, families, and the school. This role operates in close collaboration with the Multilingual Program Coordinator and site administration to ensure seamless communication and support.
Qualifications: Bilingualism in English and Somali is required. Interpreter training and two years of postsecondary education is encouraged, but not required. Ability to work with a team, excellent communication skills, outstanding organizational abilities, and familiarity with and strong connections within the Faribault community are essential. All qualified candidates will be considered.
