Fabrication of aluminum window extrusions and preparation of aluminum doors for hardware.

Essential Functions

• Handles aluminum doors and frames weighing from 60 to 150 pounds
• Performs fabrication on these products including:
• Cutting stock length material to size
• Preparing cut extrusions for assembly
• Preparing blank aluminum doors for hardware
• Installation of commercial hardware on doors and frames
• Using power and hand tools
• Reads Work Orders and Product Templates to establish necessary fabrication to be performed

Other relative duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
• Forklift certification preferred
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
• Good communication skills
• Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
• Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates
