Job Description Summary

Baer Manufacturing is seeking detail-oriented and experienced Fabricators to join the growing team. Welders are responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of welding techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Job Description:

Local Union 520 Position (Fabricator Level 1-5 depending on Experience and Weld Test)

· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to determine specifications and calculate the dimensions of components.

· Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using Mig, Tig and Arc welding units.

· Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure compliance with specifications.

· Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.

· Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

· Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5s exercises to continuously improve processes.

Union Assembler Pay Scale: $16.85 to $42.13 Based on experience
