Job Description

Job Location: Westfalia Technologies - York, PA 17406Westfalia Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Fabricator to join our growing Production team! The Fabricator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC lasers, brake presses, and plasma tube cutters to produce precision metal components according to blueprints and quality standards. This role also involves performing quality control checks, routine machine maintenance, and assisting in other fabrication or assembly tasks to support overall production efficiency.
Location Requirements: Must live within a 50 mile radius of Westfalia Technologies Inc Headquarters and within PA or MD.
Job Functions:
- Machine Operator to Set up and run CNC Laser, brake press and Plasma Tube cutter.
- Read and follow blueprints to perform piece/part Inspection
- Perform Quality Control Checks
- Perform daily Maintenance on Machines as required
- Operate the forklift and overhead cranes as needed
- Machine assembly including use of general shop hand tools
- Maintain and clean work area and Equipment
- Ability to operate other shop equipment such as vertical milling machine, punching machines, lathe and cutting saws
- Provide on the job training to new and temporary employees
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

QualificationsRequired Skills and Abilities:
- Good knowledge of tooling changes and bend deductions
- Good communication ability in English, both written and verbal is necessary
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Comply with the company safety standards
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Positive attitude in a team working environment
- Fork truck driver’s license, Training Provided.
- Ability to operate overhead crane up to 10 tons
- CNC set up and programming experience a plus
Education and

Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience with steel or sheet metal fabrication in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate other shop equipment such as vertical milling machine, punching machines, lathe and cutting saws
- Ability to operate overhead crane up to 15 tons
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires little to no additional travel outside of regular commute to Headquarters (0-5%). There may be occasional travel for office and/or employer sponsored events.
Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
