The Fabricator should be able to use custom fabrication and Grinding/Polishing techniques at a “Journeyman” level for creating, designing, and fabricating custom pieces according to the client specifications. They need to understand the client's needs, use specialized equipment to create custom pieces and ensure the final products meet quality standards. They need to perform such tasks as cutting, forming, layout, fit up, welding, and finishing all while consulting design blueprints, to fabricate and install custom parts for Vessel construction. They also need to be able to inspect and test the customized vessels to ensure safety, quality, and functionality of the custom fabricated vessels.

Physical Demands:
As an employee in this position, you are regularly required to stand, walk, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle and operate controls for the length of their entire shift. The employee needs a full range of motion in their arms and hands in this position. All personnel must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well. In this position some employees also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects of up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision acuity, the ability to adjust focus and good hand-eye coordination.
