AN INDUSTRY LEADER WITH A HEART AS BIG AS ITS AMBITION AND INNOVATION

At Victaulic, we're committed to constructing a better world for and with our people. Let's Build a Better World Together.

Our commitment to our people is built on four pillars:

  • We build from within.
  • We stand behind our people.
  • We foster an environment for constant learning.
  • We engineer change for a more stable and sustainable world.

YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We're looking for a Fabrication Systems Delivery Architect to join our Fabrication Systems Engineering team. In this role, you'll serve as the technical bridge between business requirements, solution architecture, software development, QA, analytics, and deployment activities across the Fabrication Systems Engineering portfolio — ensuring complex projects move efficiently from concept through production while maintaining technical quality, architectural consistency, and alignment with organizational objectives.

This position does not initially serve as a direct people manager. You'll provide technical leadership, project oversight, and guidance to internal developers, contractors, QA resources, and business stakeholders — with the opportunity for this role to evolve into a formal Engineering Development Manager position as the organization matures.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN

  • Provide technical leadership across PreFAB, Manufacturing, Site Ready Scheduling, and future Fabrication Systems applications
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, defining solution architecture, integration approaches, and system design standards
  • Serve as the technical owner for complex initiatives, bridging communication between business stakeholders, developers, QA, documentation, and analytics teams
  • Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation strategies
  • Lead evaluation, design, and implementation of AI solutions and intelligent automation initiatives, including AI governance, testing, training, and deployment approaches
  • Translate early business needs into clear, technically actionable solution direction — evaluating system capabilities, integration options, data requirements, and operational constraints before development begins
  • Convert approved solution direction into development-ready requirements, acceptance criteria, and implementation guidance
  • Drive consistency across Fabrication Systems applications, establishing standards for APIs, integrations, database design, and system interoperability
  • Assist with future Project Unite integration initiatives and enterprise platform alignment
  • Provide technical mentorship and direction to developers and contractors, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical reviews
  • Review major solution designs before development begins and assist developers in resolving complex technical issues
  • Partner with QA personnel to ensure test strategies align with technical requirements, and validate readiness of complex solutions before deployment
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning to reduce production defects
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to help define data architecture, governance, and scalable reporting solutions

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8+ years of software engineering, systems architecture, or technical solution leadership experience
  • Experience designing enterprise applications and integrations
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies
  • Experience leading software projects from requirements through deployment
  • Proven ability to influence technical teams without direct authority
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical execution plans

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Low-code platform experience; Mendix preferred
  • Manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial software experience
  • AI/ML solution design and implementation experience
  • Data architecture and analytics platform experience
  • Agile/Scrum delivery experience

WHAT WE OFFER

Build A Better Career

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives
  • Career development programs and internal promotion pathways — we build from within
  • Tuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunities

Build A Better Future

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement savings plan (401K) with company match
  • Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance

Build A Better You

  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicable
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and wellness resources
  • Tuition reimbursement and adoption assistance
  • Inclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one another
