JD OF FABRICATION SUPERVISOR

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of workers involved in metal fabrication processes (structural fabrication)
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining clean, orderly, and safe work areas
• To follow the plan given from the Engineer for daily /monthly targets
• Interpreting the approved drawings, specifications, and job orders to workers, and assigning duties accordingly
• Inspecting materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
• To Follow the SOP’s
• Handle multiple projects
• Knowledge about the different metallurgy plates & pipes
• Conducting employee training in equipment operations, work, and safety procedures, or company policies
• Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
• Assessing production schedules and estimating worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
• Pipe supports fabrication knowledge is highly preferred (Experience in Products like cradle/saddle supports, clamp supports, trunnion & Reinforcement supports.
• Communicating with other supervisors/foremen to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Ordering necessary supplies and materials for the shop required.
• Knowledge for making dies/fixtures for the products which we fabricate for pipe supports Production.
