Job Description: · Title: Fabrication Engineer Where: Mt Juliet, Tennessee Duration: 4 months to start and renewing 6 months each time . What will you do? · Act as project manager for installation of Fabrication equipment (Punch/Laser, press brakes machines, epoxy and paint line, and other related equipment) · Coordinate different tasks with multiple stakeholders to execute setup of equipment on time (for example: Safety & Environment, Facilities, Maintenance, etc) · Monitor and report key quality metrics for product lines · Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement · Manage quality-related production line disruptions and alerts · Execute root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for product and process defects including customer complaints · Lead PFMEA activities for product lines and ensure Process Control Plans are applied · Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, SPS, Kaizen, and Six Sigma projects · Lead implementation of new digital quality tools · Coordinate deviation identification and approval · Champion surveillance testing requirements for product lines · Assist in maintaining and improving a quality system based on ISO9000 standards and conduct internal audits · Identify and implement best practices in quality · Coaching and mentoring Quality Team What skills and capabilities will make you successful? · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field · Experience with Fabrication equipment (Punch/Laser machines, Press brakes, paint and epoxy line) · Strong quality, industrial and/or manufacturing engineering background · Experience with 8D problem solving methodology and tool utilization (5 Why, fishbone/Ishikawa, etc.) · Application of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques, statistical methods · Experience with 5S, Kaizen, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process flow mapping · Experience with process auditing and knowledge of ISO standards · Ability to lead and interact with others in a collaborative environment · Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting technical information to leadership and customers Proficient in all Microsoft office applications Requirements What skills and capabilities will make you successful? · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field · Experience with Fabrication equipment (Punch/Laser machines, Press brakes, paint and epoxy line) · Strong quality, industrial and/or manufacturing engineering background · Experience with 8D problem solving methodology and tool utilization (5 Why, fishbone/Ishikawa, etc.) · Application of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques, statistical methods · Experience with 5S, Kaizen, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process flow mapping · Experience with process auditing and knowledge of ISO standards · Ability to lead and interact with others in a collaborative environment · Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting technical information to leadership and customers Proficient in all Microsoft office applications
Our initial journey in 1997 at Performix was all about creating applications to bring clean data into data warehouses. This allowed our clients to have reliable data to report from.
In 2000 we started participating in the delivery of the data via web application/web portals. Also we started working on delivering data on smaller Mobile devices (Palm OS/Windows Mobile at the time)
Starting in 2007, with the advent of Apple App Store and then the Google Play Store — our Mobile Application development journey got a big boost; soon Android was available to build comparable Mobile Apps. We built applications cross industry including: Engineering, Manufacturing, Health-care, Government, Retail, and Non Profit.
Our application development moved to the Cloud with the benefits of Cloud development over physical servers. We assisted our clients with their Cloud Strategy and development.
Also, visualization of data played a big role – we built many custom-based solutions – our first visualization solution was built in 2004 using Google Earth and now has evolved to Tableau/Qlikview solutions.
All along our mindset has been solution oriented for our client and not the end user. We always looked for the most optimal and viable solution for our clients in their use of data.
