Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions has an opening for a Fabrication 1 in Brier Hill, PA!

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.

In this key role, the Fabrication 1 is responsible for cleaning, grinding, cutting, welding, repairing components from aftermarket equipment as well as fabricating new parts from engineered specifications or customer direction.

Fabrication repair processes include:

• Oxy/ fuel cutting techniques
• All position welding
• Engineered drawing interpretation
• Must be capable to progress from this basic level to advanced levels requiring minimal supervision
• Works overtime/weekends as required
• Upholds safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements
• Working in a team setting with the ability to convey and receive ideas/suggestions in a positive way
• The flexibility to do shift work is required

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience with industry-specific equipment

Education

• You possess a technical diploma or certification in welding
