Position Overview

We’re looking for a dependable Fabric Production Associate to help prepare and inspect fabrics before they move through production. You’ll measure fabric, check quality and patterns, remove staples and pins, and make sure materials are ready for the next step.

This is a good opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with fabric, and enjoys hands-on production work. If you can accurately use a tape measure, follow instructions, and work carefully, we’d like to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Receive fabric shades and check the fabric and lining.
  • Measure the width and length of fabrics and compare them with work tickets.
  • Check patterns to make sure they are properly aligned.
  • Remove staples and pins from fabrics.
  • Inspect fabrics after they go through the tunnel machine.
  • Look for issues such as looseness, puckering, or other defects.
  • Make sure fabrics are ready for the next step in production.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety rules and company procedures.
  • Help with other production tasks as needed.

Who you are

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of fabrics or textiles is a plus.
  • Able to accurately use a tape measure.
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools safely.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift or handle fabric.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to pass a color vision test.
  • Safety-conscious and dependable.
  • Works well with others and communicates clearly
