Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Façade Paneling Estimator / Quantity Takeoff Specialist to join their remote team. This role focuses on extracting accurate measurements and preparing detailed estimates from architectural drawings for façade, paneling, cladding, siding, and glazing-related projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in calculating material quantities, labour requirements, installation considerations, and project costing for building envelope systems. The role requires a strong understanding of construction drawings, estimating principles, and façade systems.
This is a fully remote position aligned to US working hours.

- Monday to Friday
- South African hours: 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and construction drawings
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for façade, paneling, cladding, siding, and glazing projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, elevations, and project documentation
- Calculate materials, labour, fixings, structural support components, and waste factors
- Review panel layouts, module sizing, and installation requirements
- Assist clients and internal stakeholders with pricing and estimation queries
- Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within project timelines
- Maintain estimating spreadsheets, pricing schedules, and project records
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure scope alignment and costing accuracy
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in quantity takeoffs and estimating within façade, paneling, cladding, siding, or glazing industries
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of building envelope systems and installation considerations
- Experience preparing accurate material and labour estimates
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and experience with estimating tools and spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience within the glazing industry highly advantageous
- Exposure to commercial construction or architectural projects
- Understanding of installation logistics and construction sequencing
- Experience working with US-based projects or clients beneficial
