The ECU Program Acquisition Manager is primarily responsible for the execution and acquisition integration and works with the Business Acquisition Team (BAT) to directly support the F135 ECU program. This includes providing guidance in support of all business acquisition proposals while working with the Program Acquisition Associate Director to lay out strategies for efficient acquisition captures.
The ECU effort will utilize multiple contracts to mature the program through Detailed Design, First Engine to Test (FETT), Initial Flight Release (IFR), Initial Service Release (ISR) and Flight Test. The candidate will be responsible for providing program requirements to the BAT and holding to plan. They will also support negotiations with the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) to support acquisition captures.
The ECU program is a fast-paced, high visibility, time critical, dynamic environment and the selected candidate must be adaptable, able to think critically and strategically, and be able to work in a high-pressure customer-facing position.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
