Job Description

The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The F&B Supervisor is also responsible for assisting the F&B Manager in the administration, operation, and direct management of assigned F&B outlets. This position is responsible for learning and communicating the various policies and procedures required of the F&B department staff.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3. Interact effectively and courteously with all guests and employees and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult situations in all types of business conditions.
4. Assists and advise other departments and company personnel, as necessary, to assure the successful performance of the restaurant and the company overall.
5. Directs in the development and training of staff to provide the guests with an outstanding dining experience.
6. Review staffing levels daily to maintain and control costs reflective of business levels to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
7. Assists F&B manager with all sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations in assigned outlets to meet or exceed said practices and requirements.
8. Assists F&B Manager in staff interviews, hires, evaluations and coaching and counseling to develop employees and build a cohesive team in the assigned outlets that will provide superior service to our guests.
9. Maintains, as required, stations charts, station rotations charts, attendance records, variance charts, and other records as needed for a smooth and cohesive operation.
10. Reviews and assists with par levels, inventories and purchasing of products to maintain and control costs reflective of business levels to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
11. Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
12. Assists F&B Manager in ensuring all team members are in compliance with all alcohol serving laws.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• must have the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance
• must have the ability to walk, stand, lift, bend, and twist as required

• must be able to maintain a calm and pleasant attitude in high stress situations
• must have appropriate social skills and enjoy interacting with the public and coworkers

Work Environment:

• Must have the ability to work in a brightly lit, casino environment with above average noise levels.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Prefer High School Diploma/GED

Training/Experience: 1-2 years of restaurant experience preferred

Other:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification(s).
• Must complete all required company training.
