F-15 EX Senior Project Management Specialist

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an F-15EX Senior Project Management Specialist (General Project Management) (Level 4 or 5) to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, Missouri

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead all program management activities through Program Management Best Practices to ensure program requirements are established and fully integrated
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customer, stakeholders, peers and cross-functional partners to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and execution objectives are being met
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project to provide insights to senior leaders
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience managing projects or programs
  • More than 5 years of experience leading cross functional teams and collaborating with different organizations and teams.
  • More than 5 years of experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue, and opportunity management to drive performance
  • More than 5 years of experience of managing cost and using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 5 years of experience with Project Management best practices
  • More than 5 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners).
  • More than 5 years of experience using excellent communication skills
  • More than 5 years of experience developing and briefing presentations

Typical Education/Experience:

Senior Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.

Lead Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.
