The Opportunity

Financial Services (FS) across MENA is evolving rapidly as banks invest in digital transformation, AI, and new operating models to meet evolving customers and market needs. EY-Parthenon offers a dedicated Banking Strategy & Execution platform that helps financial institutions translate strategy into tangible business outcomes

In this role, you will work with EY-Parthenon Partners and senior banking executives across the region on growth, transformation, and execution priorities. The role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking and banking expertise with hands-on transformation delivery, providing exposure from boardroom strategy through execution, implementation and value realization.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will lead engagements and workstreams for priority MENA FS clients, helping shape growth strategies, commercial transformation initiatives, and operating model enhancements. This includes developing go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation approaches, value propositions, revenue growth plans, sales effectiveness programs, and AI-enabled customer and growth initiatives.

You will also drive operating model transformation efforts, supporting clients in redesigning operating models, improving cost and productivity performance, optimizing distribution and coverage models, and simplifying service delivery and business processes.

You will advise on banking innovation topics such as open banking, embedded finance, Banking-as-a-Service, platform-based propositions, ecosystem strategies, digital transformation, AI adoption, and Supply Chain Finance.

In addition, you will play a key role in project delivery, supporting the translation of strategy into execution through program mobilization, executive stakeholder management, steering committee engagement, implementation oversight, value realization tracking and counseling junior team members.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including experience engaging senior executives.
• Experience leading workstreams and delivering high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution with strong academic credentials. MBA or Master's degree would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in strategy consulting, banking, financial services, fintech, or related transformation environments.
• Experience delivering strategy, transformation, operating model, commercial excellence, digital, AI, or growth-focused engagements within the banking sector.
• Knowledge of one or more banking segments, including Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, SME Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Transaction Banking, Payments, Treasury, or Capital Markets.
• Ability to develop executive-level presentations, conduct rigorous analyses, and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the MENA region as required.
