EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship - Junior PMO Consultant

The opportunity

Consulting Support Services (CSS) roles are created to provide a tailored suite of services to consulting teams across competencies and regions within EY. Through the NextGen Talent Internship Program, interns will support consulting project delivery, practice operations and engagement coordination while developing foundational consulting, teaming and AI-enabled delivery skills. The role combines hands-on CSS assignments with structured onboarding, buddy and counselor support, teaming workshops, an AI-enabled Consulting Challenge Lab and preparation for the Microsoft Azure AI-900 certification. Interns will learn how to support project tracking, reporting, documentation, research and data-related activities while using approved AI and digital tools responsibly to improve efficiency, quality and business value.

Your key responsibilities

Project Management and Coordination:

• Support project and portfolio coordination within the assigned CSS scope, including tracking actions, milestones, risks, dependencies and status updates
• Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, presentations, meeting materials and project documentation using agreed templates and quality standards
• Collect, validate and organize data; perform basic analysis and translate findings into concise observations for the team
• Support meetings by preparing agendas, capturing decisions and actions, and following up with owners
• Conduct desk research and summarize information relevant to project delivery, practice operations or capability development
• Identify repetitive or manual activities where approved AI and automation tools could improve efficiency, quality or user experience
• Use AI responsibly to support research, drafting, summarization, data interpretation or prototyping, while validating outputs and following EY confidentiality, security and quality requirements

Client Relationship and Quality Improvement:

• Build effective working relationships with CSS team members, buddies, counselors and consulting stakeholders
• Communicate progress proactively and ask for support when priorities, requirements or data are unclear
• Focus on accuracy, quality of deliverables and responsible use of digital and AI-enabled tools
• Participate fully in onboarding, teaming workshops, buddy and counselor sessions, internal CV and interview workshops, the Consulting Challenge Lab and the AI-900 learning path

Skills and attributes for success

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program; relevant fields may include business, economics, management, project management, data analytics, information systems, technology or a related discipline
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Outlook
• Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, data and technology-enabled consulting; prior specialist AI experience is not required
• Willingness to learn, experiment, ask questions and develop practical AI fluency in a responsible way
• Ability to work as part of a team, communicate clearly and contribute to a collaborative consulting environment

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning
• Fluent English communication - both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to validate information before sharing outputs
• Good organization capabilities, self-discipline and ability to follow defined processes and documentation standards
• Good analytical and numerical skills, with curiosity about AI, automation and data-driven ways of working

Ideally, you also have

• Experience from a university project, student organization, volunteering, internship or part-time role involving teamwork, research, coordination, reporting, data or client service
• Basic exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot or another AI-enabled productivity tool
• Familiarity with project management principles, agile ways of working, process improvement or an additional European language is desirable
