EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship – Junior AI Consultant

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

The EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship is a highly selective program designed for ambitious students and early-career professionals who are passionate about Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

As a Junior AI Consultant, you will join a carefully selected cohort of high-potential talent and participate in an accelerated learning journey combining technical development, hands-on project work and mentorship from experienced EY professionals. You will gain exposure to advanced analytics, machine learning, Generative AI and intelligent solutions that help global organizations solve complex business challenges.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Interest in and willingness to develop AI and GenAI skills, including the use of modern digital tools to enhance productivity, problem-solving and business outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an open mindset and willingness to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Understanding of data analysis concepts, including data cleaning, preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Familiarity with data analysis and machine learning libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and practical experience with ML algorithms and models.
• Interest in applying AI and machine learning solutions to real-world business challenges.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience working with machine learning frameworks such as XGBoost, Random Forest, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents.
• Experience gained through academic, personal or commercial AI-related projects.
• Participation in technology competitions, hackathons, research initiatives or innovation programs.
• German and/or French language skills.
