EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship – Junior AI Automation Developer

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Your key responsibilities

As part of the NextGen Talent Internship, you will:

• Analyze business processes, operational challenges and available data sources to identify automation opportunities.
• Design and develop intelligent automation solutions using leading automation technologies, AI capabilities and modern programming languages.
• Build innovative applications with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power BI solutions.
• Collaborate with experienced professionals throughout the entire solution lifecycle – from discovery and design to testing, deployment and support.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing automation and AI-enabled solutions.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to understand complex business processes and challenges.
• Experience working with Excel and automating data-related tasks using VBA and/or Python.
• Knowledge of at least one RPA platform (preferably Blue Prism, UiPath or Automation Anywhere) or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A genuine interest in emerging technologies, automation and artificial intelligence.
• Interest in and willingness to develop AI and GenAI skills, including the use of modern digital tools to enhance productivity, problem-solving and business outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an open mindset and willingness to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience with .NET technologies.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning or generative AI solutions.
• German and/or French language skills.
• Participation in academic, technology or innovation-related initiatives, competitions or projects.
