Career Family-AIA – Senior UiPath Developer

The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior UiPath Developer with approximately 5-8 years of experience (flexible for strong skills) who will independently develop, manage, and lead automation solutions using UiPath. The ideal candidate will take ownership of automation workflows, lead automation projects, and mentor junior developers. This role requires direct and effective communication with client teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment of automation solutions. The candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic production support and enhancement environment, demonstrating flexibility, responsiveness, and strong problem-solving skills.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end automation development using UiPath Modern UI, ReFramework, and modern design principles for both attended and unattended automation requirements
• Independently develop and manage unattended automation workflows, translating complex business requirements into robust and efficient automation solutions.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Long Running Workflows and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) concepts to enhance automation capabilities.
• Troubleshoot automation issues, optimize performance, and implement effective exception handling and retry mechanisms.
• Manage UiPath Orchestrator components including Queues, Assets, Triggers, and oversee deployment processes across multiple environments.
• Collaborate closely with business SMEs, internal teams, and clients to clarify requirements, provide regular project updates, and ensure alignment.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices, coding standards, and delivery processes.
• Ensure high-quality documentation of automation workflows, adhering to delivery standards such as naming conventions, annotations, and folder structures.
• Support bug fixes for bots in production with quick turnaround times.

• Deliver high-quality, scalable automation solutions with strong focus on accuracy, reusability, and performance.
• Ensure on-time delivery of complex automation projects, managing multiple workstreams and priorities effectively.
• Maintain high bot reliability and stability through proactive monitoring, optimization, and robust error handling.
• Drive SLA adherence and production stability by ensuring quick resolution of incidents and minimal downtime.
• Achieve efficient bot utilization and workload management using UiPath Orchestrator and queue-based processing.
• Improve process efficiency by identifying and implementing optimization opportunities across existing automations.
• Ensure standardization and governance compliance through adherence to coding, documentation, and deployment best practices.
• Enable team productivity and capability building by mentoring developers and promoting reusable components.
• Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems and APIs, enabling end-to-end automation solutions.
• Support continuous improvement and innovation, including adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities in automation.________________________________________

Skills and Attributes

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Professional Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in RPA tools, digital transformation, and related domains.
• Proven hands-on experience with UiPath development, including run support, RCA analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in building, deploying, and supporting automation solutions and playbooks.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills for direct client engagement.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to own and drive workstreams.
• Collaborative and receptive to feedback.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.

Preferred Certifications

• UiPath Certified Professional – Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) (Required)
• UiPath Certified Professional – Automation Solution Architect (Preferred)
• UiPath AI / Document Understanding Certification (Good to have)
• Relevant certifications in AI/ML, Cloud (Azure), or Agile methodologies are an added advantage

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with healthcare workflows is advantageous.
