EY Capital Advisors - Investment Banking – Equity Capital Markets - Manager - Multiple Positions - 1716910, Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.
Help clients prepare for and execute critical capital raising transactions including follow-on equity and convertible debt offerings, and structured private capital raises. Ability to perform advanced technical analysis that is presented to clients as they consider financing structures and alternatives. Ability to run and evaluate precedent transaction data to analyze pricing, fees, and syndicate structures, and present those findings. Ability to process the data, messaging, and form preliminary recommendations. Ability to thoroughly review transaction documents and provide suggested edits.
Advise clients on strategic alternatives, capital markets, and corporate finance solutions. Research, review and analyze precedent transactions and present findings. Provide analysis used to discuss alternatives with C-suite executives seeking informed content ahead of negotiations or key decisions.
Help our clients prepare for their capital markets transactions including: fine-tuning the equity story / investor messaging, evaluating projection models, syndicate strategy and structure, precedent fee analysis, providing independent perspectives on key document provisions, valuation, marketing and pricing, and general project management.
Have the skills to manage and motivate junior teams. Ability to teach/train junior bankers in areas of expertise.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree Business, Economics, Finance and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with one or a combination of experience in capital markets and/or investment banking experience.
Must have at least 2 years of experience performing analysis around equity, equity-linked and equity derivative financing alternatives and transactions.
Must have at least 2 years of experience with advising clients on strategic alternatives, capital markets, and corporate finance solutions.
Must have at least 1 year of experience managing junior staff members and overseeing their work-product.
Must have at least 1 year of experience with presenting to senior banking representatives.
Must have or be eligible to obtain within one year of hire a SIE, Series 7 or 79 and a Series 63 license and be in good standing.
Requires domestic travel of up to 10% to meet client needs.
