This position is responsible for the efficient set-up and operation of the extrusion line in order to safely produce high-quality PET Sheet in accordance with the job safety analyses (JSA’s), production schedule, set-up instructions, operating procedures, and quality specifications.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
· Ensures safety and quality are at or above company standards
· Consistently meets production goals
· Perform setup of machine to run custom film size/thickness, with specific blend of PET resin components (virgin, regrind, color master batch as required)
· Perform quality inspections on film to ensure it is being made to specification.
· Troubleshoot line when there are issues with quality or output rates not at standards
· Communicate to Supervisor and co-workers routinely regarding issues that effect Safety, Quality, and Production
· Follow all GMP, Quality, and Safety policies and procedures
· Other duties as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
