Job Location: TULSA, OK 74107SUMMARY
The EXTRUDER OPERATOR A/B main function is to tend to machines that perform one or more packing functions such as, marking, labeling, banding, taping, packing or wrapping of coils or sticks on multiple pipelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
• Will perform various plant functions such as cleaning up, painting, and cutting and handling of plastic pipe.
• Moves finished product to the lag area.
• Uses various hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and banders
• Accurately filling out “Print Line Verification Sheet” and turning it in to Production Office.
• Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions of the machine and reports malfunction to Supervisor.
• Visually and Physically inspects product for Quality
• Clears away damaged or out-of-spec product to the rework area. Keeps work area clean and swept up.
• Stocks items such as tape, banding, or whatever is needed for packaging requirements.
• Works at following and promoting Company Safety Rules, Policies/Procedures, and accepted safe work practices.
• Safely operates Forklifts (on-the-job training provided) to move pipe and materials to and from the production areas and warehouse.
• Assists Quality Control Operators and Packagers when needed to work successfully in a self-managed work team.
• Serves as “Coiler Bay Coordinator”
• Willing to learn new tasks and take on individual responsibilities
• May be responsible for training and supervising new hires and temporary workers.
• Responsible for keeping in compliance with the J M Eagle T.H.M. (Total Housekeeping Management) program.

SAFETY
The employee will be required to follow company safety rules and regulations, including all OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) regulations. All employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes, eye protection and hearing protection in designated areas at all times.
