Location: Central
Dates: 11/2/2026-2/20/2027
Pay: $3,777

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To develop and implement an exemplary athletic program that provides the highest quality education and growth opportunities for every student athlete.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior coaching experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To foster and model positive interactions among student-athletes while building supportive relationships with the school and community.

  • To promote self-direction and self-motivation in students, empowering them to take responsibility for their learning, growth, and success.

• Subject Matter
  • To exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the sport or area being coached, ensuring effective instruction and guidance for student athletes.
  • To effectively adapt instruction of strategy and fundamentals to align with the individual needs, abilities, and interests of student-athletes.
• Planning/Materials
  • To develop and sustain an organized athletic program guided by well structured, long term planning.
  • To demonstrate effective planning and organization while employing a diverse range of appropriate strategies and resources to enhance student athlete development.
• Techniques/Delivery
  • To clearly convey fundamental coaching expectations to student athletes and explain their significance for personal, athletic, and academic growth.
  • To utilize appropriate and varied coaching techniques and learning activities.
  • To maintain an effective system of monitoring student progress and to inform appropriate persons.
