The Role

As an External Quality Assurer (EQA) – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will carry out and document quality assurance activities in line with regulatory and qualification requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, conducting, and monitoring face-to-face quality assurance activities

• Supporting centres with current industry and QA expertise

• Reviewing assessment and internal quality assurance practices

• Providing clear, constructive, and supportive feedback to assessors, learners, and delivery staff

• Maintaining effective working relationships with centres and internal teams

• Ensuring compliance within a regulated qualifications environment

This role covers centres across the East of England and North West regions.

Ideal Candidate

You will be a credible industry professional with strong technical and quality assurance experience.

You’ll need to demonstrate:

• Current, hands-on expertise in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

• A recognised assessor qualification (D32/D33, A1/A2, or TAQA Level 3 CAVA)

• Achievement of, or working towards, TAQA EQA qualification (6312-41) or equivalent (D35/V2)

• Experience working within a regulated environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence providing professional, supportive feedback

• Ideally, residence within or close to the advertised regions
