As the External Manufacturing & Business Analytics Lead you will support the European Subcontracting / External Manufacturing (EM) perimeter within our Management Control organization.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Performance for External Manufacturing Europe, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, robustness and timeliness of all financial data related to subcontracted manufacturing activities across the European zone.
This position acts as a strategic analytical partner and a right hand to the Finance Business Partner (FBP) for External Manufacturing in the European zone
Analyse and update standard costs and ensure accurate integration into financial and ERP systems.
Review and interpret industrial and purchase variances, including yields, substitutions and price effects.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts for volumes, prices and external manufacturing costs.
Contribute to monthly closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Monitor consignment inventory at subcontractors and analyse related variances.
Provide financial insights for cross-functional projects and support the tracking of contractual commitments.
Contribute to the analysis of the industrial dashboard, including key cost and activity indicators.
Contribute to monitoring workforce and contractual commitments
Take part in building forecasting exercises for volumes and prices
Contribute to the economic analysis of cross-functional projects.
Experience in financial controlling or business analytics, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, or manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is an advantage.
Ability to understand manufacturing and supply chain financial concepts (e.g., standard costs, variances, inventory).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactive, curious and able to work with autonomy after a short ramp-up period.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; able to collaborate with non‑French-speaking teams.
