
The Department of Political Science and Public Administration is looking for one or more external lecturers that can take on teaching at the professional master level for a 3-year period.
The position consists of teaching, supervision, and the creation of teaching and exam materials for courses agreed upon with the Head of Section for international and regional politics. We are specifically looking for candidates with academic and practical experience in intelligence studies, Intelligence analysis, and foresight analysis, who can teach at our professional master in intelligence and cyber studies.
Qualified candidates must possess, at minimum, 1) a master’s degree in a relevant area and 2) occupy a position in an institution of higher education or have a high level of relevant practical experience. Candidates who cannot fulfil both of these criteria will not be considered.
Weight will be placed on documented teaching experience within intelligence studies and foresight analysis. These teaching qualifications will be considered in the assessment of the candidates.

Salary and Employment Conditions
The applicant must state whether they have had any other part-time employment at SDU.
The employment period for an external lecturer is normally 3 years. However, this period may change in special cases. Contact the department for more information.
The employment takes place in accordance with a collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations for academics in the state with the associated circular on the protocol for the job structure for academic staff at universities and the provisions for the position of External Lecturer as described herein.
A release certificate must be issued.
