Why Your Role Matters
This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of alumni and external engagement within UNSW Engineering.
As the External Engagement Projects Officer, you will support initiatives that strengthen connections between the faculty, its graduates, industry partners and wider community. You will work closely with colleagues across the faculty’s schools and UNSW’s central alumni team to develop communications, digital content, events, databases and engagement activities that build lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.
You will also contribute to enhancing the faculty’s profile and ensuring engagement activities align with the UNSW Progress for All Strategy and broader faculty goals.
The role reports to the Senior External Engagement Manager and has no direct reports.

You are a proactive communications, marketing or relationship-management professional with a genuine interest in people and community building. Alumni experience is welcome but not essential; more important is your ability to build relationships, coordinate projects and help shape a growing area of engagement.
