As a Senior Associate External Auditor in Sustainability, you’ll play a vital role in providing independent sustainability assurance by assessing reporting accuracy, compliance, and controls to build trust in clients’ sustainability performance.

What you’ll do:

  • External auditing over climate and sustainability information, and compliance with sustainability standards and regulations

  • Analysing, identifying and resolving complex business issues with effective strategies

  • Thriving in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and driving innovation

  • Maintaining a commitment to integrity, ethical behavior, and building trust with clients and stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

Core skills

  • Audit Expertise: 2-4 years of experience in external audit in Sustainability, with experience in assurance over greenhouse gas emissions, and progress towards or completion of a recognised CA qualification

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse sustainability information and drivers, identify risks, and apply professional judgement to audit processes

  • Teamwork and Development: Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to learn from and support senior colleagues

  • Communication Skills: Ability to prepare audit findings clearly and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Industry Awareness and Regulatory Understanding: Foundational knowledge of auditing standards, sustainability reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to ongoing learning
