As an External Audit Trainee you will support audit and assurance teams within our Audit and Assurance practice, helping gather information, review documentation, and contribute to work that evaluates financial statements, internal controls, and compliance processes. As an Intern you will learn by observing professional work, take part in projects, complete basic tasks and research, ask questions to deepen your understanding, and build commercial awareness while developing your personal brand.

In this role at PwC, you will gain exposure to a variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment, where each project can bring different scope and challenges. You will support teams serving the Banking and Capital Markets sector, use a learning mindset to develop your knowledge of non-audit assurance requirements and practices, and apply professional and technical standards while delivering reliable work that supports client-focused objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting audit and other assurance engagements by preparing basic workpapers and organizing source documentation
  • Assisting with testing of internal controls, compliance requirements, and financial statement support under supervision
  • Gathering information from client records, interviews, and system reports to identify patterns and variances
  • Documenting findings clearly and maintaining organized files for review and follow-up
  • Helping to prepare deliverables, summaries, and status updates for engagement teams
  • Applying auditing standards, internal control concepts, and regulatory requirements to assigned tasks
  • Using audit documentation tools and digital platforms to record procedures and track assigned work
  • Participating in team discussions, asking questions, and learning from feedback to build professional skills
  • Understand the importance of have a correct information management
  • Knowledge of Information Security and Data Protection
  • Correct Information Security Management

What You Must Have

  • Pursuing Public Accountant or Business Administration with at least 60% of University Degree completed.
  • Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their final year of degree program.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
