  • Hours: Part time, 12 hours per week, 3 pm to 5.45 pm Monday to Thursday, 3 pm to 4.15 pm Friday
  • Contract: Permanent (subject to 6-month probationary period), required from 1 September 2026

Rendlesham Primary School are seeking a friendly Extended Schools Assistant, who is passionate about working with children, to join our wonderful staff team. Our after-school club provides a stimulating environment in which children can relax, be creative, and have fun. You will be committed to children’s development and well-being, with experience of working with SEND desirable.

We are looking for an Extended Schools Assistant who:

  • has a genuine passion for supporting children’s play, learning, and development in a nurturing environment
  • can maintain acceptable standards of behaviour, conduct, and safety as laid down in the school policies
  • can ensure health and safety regulations are followed including help with the general cleaning of the food areas (as necessary)
  • is a reflective practitioner who is willing to grow and develop through feedback and team collaboration.
