Safe Passages disrupts the cycle of poverty by engaging youth and families to build and drive a continuum of services that supports student success and community development. We envision a community where all young people have the opportunity to realize their full potential. Our work is grounded in the belief that access to education, health services, and family support should not be determined by race or socioeconomic status. When young people have the support they need, they are better equipped to learn, thrive, and succeed. Safe Passages’ After School Program provides high-quality enrichment and academic support across OUSD school sites using a strong youth development framework.
The After-School Program Instructor will be part of an after-school team dedicated to providing high quality programming to youth and their families. The After School Program Instructor will facilitate activities for students in a structured and supportive environment. After School Program Instructors sessions will be delivered in person. The After-School Program Instructor will be supervised by Safe Passages After School Program Site Coordinator and the After School Program Specialists.
