We are seeking an experienced Express Service Team Lead Tech to support our team of Lube Technicians. This is a hands on role focused on mentoring technicians, improving repair quality, and helping grow their mechanical skill sets. The ideal candidate comes with strong brake and front-end experience, light mechanical repair knowledge, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume Ford service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and lead Express/Lube Technicians in day-to-day maintenance and light repair work
Provide guidance, troubleshooting support, and real-time coaching to build technician skills
Perform and oversee light mechanical repairs
Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are being met
Assist in workflow coordination as the Express department grows
Set a positive tone, help maintain productivity, and encourage continuous learning
Qualifications
3–5 years of recent experience in automotive maintenance and light repair
Experience from an independent shop or dealership
Strong background in brakes, front-end repair, and light mechanical work
Must have own tools and a professional, team-oriented attitude
Ford experience a plus but not required
