Gresham Subaru has experienced the largest gain in market share over the past year—and we’re just getting started. As our dealership continues to grow at an incredible pace, we’re expanding our Service Department and looking to add a driven, customer‑focused Express Service Advisor to our team.
As an Express Service Advisor, you’ll be at the front lines of our service experience and the first point of contact for guests in our Express Service lane. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high‑energy environment and takes pride in delivering fast, friendly, and efficient service. You’ll work closely with customers and service technicians to keep vehicles moving and smiles coming—ensuring every visit is smooth from check‑in to checkout.
The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping people. Prior automotive service advising experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right long‑term team member who’s eager to grow with us.

Express Service Advisor Job Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers promptly, courteously, and professionally in the Express Service lane.
- Write repair orders for oil changes, tire rotations, maintenance services, and light repairs.
- Clearly communicate recommended services and maintenance needs.
- Keep customers informed on service timelines, costs, and any changes.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accurate documentation.
- Drive sales of maintenance services to meet department goals.
- Ensure every guest leaves with a positive dealership experience.
- Maintain organized and accurate service records.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 7 AM - 6 PM.

QualificationsExpress Service Advisor

Qualifications
- Previous automotive service advising experience preferred (Express Lane experience a plus)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair services
- Sales-minded with the ability to recommend maintenance confidently and ethically
- Comfortable using dealership management software and computer systems
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

The Gee Automotive Companies began in 1983 when George Gee opened a Pontiac dealership in Spokane, Washington, which quickly became the largest in the state. In 1991, the company added GMC to its offerings, and in 2000, it relocated to new facilities in Liberty Lake, WA.

In 2003, Ryan Gee became President and CEO, building on his parents' legacy by expanding the company to include Buick, Porsche of Spokane, Kia in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, and Cadillac in Coeur d'Alene. Ryan focused on cultivating talent within the organization, bringing on skilled managers such as Jeff Jackson, who became president in 2010 while Ryan remained as CEO and Dealer Principal.

The company has since expanded beyond Spokane, notably acquiring 13 dealerships from the Tonkin Group in Portland in 2017. Under Ryan's leadership, the company now operates 40 dealerships, including the recent additions of Honda World and Olympia Kia Subaru. Additionally, it manages a parts wholesale business, an automotive retail financing arm, an automotive wholesale operation, an off-site sale company, and two Allstate insurance agencies, employing over 2,500 team members focused on exceptional customer service across the Northwest.
