General Sales & Marketing work focuses on a combination of general sales and marketing work including: Face-to-face and/or remote sales to new or existing customers Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions Planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products/services and associated brand(s) Evaluating, measuring, and managing the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.) Incumbents in this specialization may also provide customer service and support in the form of information on product/price and resolution to issues related to billing, shipping, delivery, complaints, etc. Incumbents matching to this specialization are compensated based on achievement of sales targets.

How you’ll make an impact ​

  • Timely acknowledgment of enquiry and sharing them with the respective department.

  • Capability to understand customer drawings, product knowledge and related specifications.

  • Knowledge of contract review procedure and get clarification from customers for the enquiry received before offer submission.

  • Preparation of rate contract/offers and submitting them to customers.

  • Following up on submitted offer to convert them into orders.

  • Acknowledging the purchase orders received by submitting the order acceptance and coordinating for the delivery dates with order handlers.

  • Preparation of the monthly delivery schedule plan as per the customer requirements.

  • Ensuring the consistent loading of products manufactured at the factory.

  • Getting Input from customers on their requirements and prioritizing those materials in production to increase customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with Backend & Head of Production to improve delivery and timely response to customers.

  • Communication to the customers on planned deliveries during the month and update if any revision in the dates.

  • Coordinating with order handler for packing list and arranging forwarders for the planned material during the month wherever required.

  • Sending invoice and packing list for attestation by Chamber of Commerce.

  • Coordinating with the logistics team by providing the dispatch information and arranging the BL for the timely submission.

  • Submitting the relevant documents to bank through FEMA for timely material customs clearance.

  • Sending overdue payment information to ensure payment on time and reduce DSO.

  • Support improvement of Sales Process.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Live the company’s core values of Safety and Integrity, taking responsibility for actions while caring for colleagues and the business.

Your background:

  • Should be a Graduate.

  • Proven work experience in the transformer environment, marketing and sales with minimum 2 years relevant work experience. With background in contract review, quotation preparation including costing and pricing experience.

  • Hands-on experience in sales documentation for delivering excellent customer experience. Knowledge on SAP and MS Office

  • Understand sales performance metrics.

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills both verbal and written, negotiation skill, influencing skills.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
