About Our Client

Our client is preparing to build an export-oriented food ingredient manufacturing pilot plant. The company is looking for early team members who can help establish quality, commercial, finance, and accounting foundations from the setup stage.

About the Role

The Export Sales Manager will build international customer pipelines, develop distributor relationships, and open export opportunities for food ingredient products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop export sales pipeline for food ingredient products.
  • Identify and approach overseas distributors, food ingredient buyers, nutraceutical companies, and relevant end-users.
  • Leverage existing network or database to open commercial discussions.
  • Manage international prospecting, qualification, presentation, sampling coordination, quotation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Coordinate with internal technical, QA/QC, production, and logistics teams to support customer requirements.
  • Gather market intelligence on export demand, pricing, competitors, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support distributor appointment, partnership development, and export sales planning.

Requirements

  • Proven export sales or international business development experience in food ingredients, nutraceutical ingredients, specialty ingredients, food additives, flavors, functional ingredients, agriculture-based ingredients, or related B2B ingredient products.
  • Existing network or database of overseas food ingredient customers, distributors, or end-users.
  • Experience dealing with distributors, multinational customers, or nutraceutical / food manufacturing buyers.
  • Strong commercial skills in prospecting, negotiation, pipeline building, and relationship management.
  • Understanding of export documentation, international trade flow, or distributor management is an advantage.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, target-driven, and comfortable building export markets from the early stage.
