About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Export Sales Manager to lead international sales operations and expand market presence across global markets within the dairy and FMCG sector. The role involves developing export strategies, managing distributor relationships, and driving revenue growth while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Export Sales Strategy & GrowthDevelop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion targets.Identify and penetrate new international markets and distribution channels.Drive sales growth by building a strong pipeline of distributors and partners.Monitor global market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand.
Distributor & Partner ManagementEstablish and manage relationships with international distributors, agents, and partners.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial agreements.Ensure distributors meet sales targets and brand standards.Provide ongoing support and training to partners to enhance performance.
Market Development & ExpansionConduct market research to identify opportunities in new regions.Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches in export markets.Adapt sales strategies to meet regional preferences and regulations.Participate in international trade shows and exhibitions.
Sales Operations & ForecastingPrepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where required.Ensure effective order management and coordination with supply chain teams.Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to international markets.
Compliance & DocumentationEnsure compliance with international trade regulations, export laws, and documentation requirements.Manage export documentation including invoices, shipping documents, and certifications.Coordinate with logistics and customs teams for smooth export operations.Maintain accurate records of export transactions.
Coordination & Internal CollaborationWork closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and standards.Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional activities in export markets.Align export operations with overall business objectives.Provide feedback to management on market insights and opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.6–10 years of experience in export sales or international business development within FMCG or dairy industries.Proven experience managing international distributors and markets.
