Export Manager UNIC – EMEA & LATAM
We are seeking an Export Manager to lead the international development of our business across the EMEA region and selected LATAM markets

This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on building our international footprint from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, developing, and managing a network of distributors while driving sales growth and brand visibility across target markets.

The position requires a proactive business developer with strong commercial acumen, a passion for international markets, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment where significant opportunities remain to be developed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify, prioritize, and develop new business opportunities across EMEA and selected LATAM countries.
  • Create and execute an international growth strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Prospect, recruit, negotiate, and onboard new distributors and business partners.
  • Establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, dealers, and end-users.
  • Develop market entry plans and assess commercial potential in new territories.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Distributor Network Management

  • Build and structure a high-performing international distributor network.
  • Define annual objectives and development plans with distribution partners.
  • Monitor distributor performance and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Support distributors in developing local sales activities and market penetration.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with partners.

Technical Training & Product Support

  • Organize and deliver product and technical training programs for distributors, customers, and partners.
  • Ensure distributors possess the necessary technical and commercial expertise to successfully represent the company.
  • Coordinate training materials, product demonstrations, and education initiatives.
  • Act as a key liaison between customers, distributors, and internal teams regarding technical and commercial matters.

Trade Shows & Brand Development

  • Identify and recommend the most relevant international trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Plan, organize, and actively participate in trade shows to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Represent the company at international events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • Develop action plans to maximize return on investment from exhibitions and promotional activities.

Sales Management & Reporting

  • Achieve annual sales targets and KPIs within assigned territories.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and activity reports.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and regularly update CRM systems.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to senior management.

WHAT'S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international sales, export management, or business development.
  • Proven success in building and developing distributor networks across multiple countries.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience delivering technical or product training is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis (approximately 40–60%).

  • Delivered sustainable sales growth and increased market penetration.
  • Strengthened the company's international brand visibility through targeted marketing initiatives and trade show participation.
  • Implemented effective distributor training and development programs.
  • Created a scalable international business platform to support long-term growth.

Travel Requirement: Frequent international travel across EMEA and LATAM
