As an Export Control Manager, you play a key role in TRATON’s global operations by ensuring compliance with Swedish and US export control laws and regulations. As global regulations continue to evolve, maintaining robust and effective export control compliance remains essential.
Export control responsibilities are shared across different business units. Within R&D, our primary focus is on export control classification and training. We work in close collaboration with colleagues within Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Legal and other business units to ensure consistent and compliant export control practices across Scania and the TRATON Group.
In the role of Export Control Manager, you will work with export control classification of items, software and technology. Another big part of the role is to coordinate, drive, and support export control activities within TRATON Group R&D. You will ensure that processes and procedures are aligned within the different TRATON brands and to the current legal and regulatory requirements. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the organization and helping stakeholders navigate the complexities of export control regulations in a global environment

Our section, Export Control TRATON Group, is part of the Product Compliance and Homologation domain. We promote product compliance by enabling processes, tools, and content for TRATON Modular Systems and brand-specific solutions. Our mission is to safeguard stakeholder interests through harmonization and sustainable deliverables.
You will be part of a highly collaborative section of approximately five members, working with regulations, classification, and export control laws. The section is based in Södertälje, Sweden.
