
The Export Control and Compliance Manger reports to the Assistant Vice President for Research Compliance & Security and is responsible for implementing, overseeing and helping to develop and update the university’s export control compliance program as well as supporting the university’s compliance committees. Incumbent will work closely with a broad array of university units and stakeholders to assess and mitigate risks associated with international collaborations, research activities, and technology transfers.

Functional guidance over nonexempt staff including general scheduling, assigning tasks and monitoring work activities.
Physical Requirements:
Job is physically comfortable; individual is normally seated and has discretion about walking, standing, etc. May occasionally lift very lightweight objects.
Working Conditions:
Standard working environment with possible minor inconveniences due to occasional noise, crowded working conditions and/or minor heating/cooling or ventilation problems. Near continuous use (>70% of the time) of a video display terminal.

Compensation:
The compensation for this position is starting at $65,000 annually and is commensurate with experience.
