We need:
Enthusiastic individuals who are willing to gain new qualification and become part of our great team! They must have good written and spoken communications skills and a proven ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to detail, ability to use their own initiative and assertiveness are vital.
Appointees will also be adaptable and have strong organisation skills to work to agreed timescales and meet all deadlines. They must possess a minimum of three A levels (or equivalent or higher qualifications), one of which a science subject or food technology. OR have 3 years relevant experience working in a regulatory or enforcement role relation to food hygiene or standards.
Our rapid programme of expansion has seen great growth to our export division, which the new CSOs will support.
They will provide export certification for products of animal origin (POAO) - primarily meat, meat products and dairy - ensuring that all consignments meet the requirements of importing countries as detailed in the Export Health Certificate. This position will be based in our distribution centres and meat processing facilities so candidates must be comfortable with this environment. This role will operate on a shift pattern and based within Sudbury CO10.
Duties will include:
· Checking the empty containers to see if it is fit to transport goods
· Take photos throughout export as indicated on the booking form
· Inspect the goods, checking for broken boxes, expirations etc
· Supervise the loading/sealing of the containers
· Take photographic evidence of the sealed container and seal number
· Provide the evidence and feedback to the EOV
· Any other duties as required
