As a global player, Continental operates tire plants all over the world. No matter where you start, one thing is for sure: in just two years you will be working hands-on in real-life manufacturing projects.

Quality comes from experience so, to gain broad knowledge of tire production, you will start the program with hands-on experience right there on the shop floor.

After this initial experience, you will join other Quality Trainees for a 6-months stay in the Central Operations in Hanover. Participating in a series of stimulating projects you can get up to speed with the tire development process and our global Continental business model. Discover which technical trainings suit you best, develop your soft skills and build your network with visits to major Continental tire plants, customers and suppliers.

After that you will get to know your customers’ needs by spending half a month with one of our marketing and sales organizations in your home country.

Finally, you will be taking over a position in SLP plant in the areas of Production, Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Industrialization or Quality Management.

Qualifications

  • Above-average Bachelors-/Masters degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical) or Manufacturing
  • Fluent in English It's a must (C1-C2)
  • Relevant internships
  • International experience (e.g. internships or studies abroad)
  • Project experience desired
  • Strong interpersonal- and communication skills, committed team player, eager to work in a multicultural environment
  • Driven by passion, open minded and ambitious personality, high operational readiness
  • Passion for the automotive industry
  • High willingness to travel during the program
