Step into a specialist role at the intersection of construction and law, working on complex disputes and high-value projects.
This opportunity suits a Quantity Surveyor looking to move beyond traditional cost management and into expert witness and dispute advisory work. You’ll be involved in analysing construction data, assessing claims and preparing reports used in legal proceedings.
Working alongside experienced experts, lawyers and technical consultants, you’ll build a strong foundation in quantum, delay and dispute resolution within a structured and high-performing team.
What you’ll do
• Prepare expert cost reports for dispute and legal matters
• Analyse drawings, contracts, claims, variations and technical documentation
• Support quantum assessments, defect analysis and delay reviews
• Work closely with legal professionals and senior experts on complex cases
• Assist in preparing reports for arbitration, litigation and expert conferences
What you’ll need
• Experience in quantity surveying within a consultancy or contractor environment
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management
• High attention to detail and analytical capability
• Strong written communication skills for report preparation
• Interest in dispute resolution, expert witness work or construction law
