The SIGINT SME is a recognized authority in signals intelligence and provides strategic-level analysis, technical expertise, and advisory support to senior government leaders and mission stakeholders.
Serve as the primary SIGINT subject matter authority for assigned mission areas
Provide expert-level analysis of advanced communications and electronic systems
Guide SIGINT analytic methodologies, tools, and best practices
Support policy development, intelligence strategy, and senior decision-making
Advise on collection capabilities, limitations, and future requirements
Mentor senior analysts and shape workforce development
Deep expertise in SIGINT operations, systems, and analytic tradecraft
Proven ability to influence strategic outcomes
Exceptional advisory, briefing, and technical communication skills
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred
Minimum 20 years total experience, including at least 15 years of specialized SIGINT experience
