Within this organization, the Corporate Security function develops and manages enterprise security programs that support risk-informed decision-making, operational resilience, and executive safety. This includes overseeing governance structures, enhancing program maturity, and driving alignment across multiple security disciplines, including Executive Protection. Executive Protection is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of high-profile individuals within the organization, including executives, Board members, and other key personnel. Through a combination of intelligence-driven risk assessments, threat monitoring, and strategic security measures, the team ensures a proactive and adaptive approach to executive safety. Focused on discretion and rapid response, the Executive Protection Department plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s leadership and maintaining business continuity. The External Threat Intelligence (ETI) team provides the forward-looking intelligence capability that underpins both executive protection and broader corporate security programs. ETI is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and translating external threat activity into actionable insights. The team supports risk-informed decision-making through continuous monitoring, intelligence production, and strategic assessments, enabling proactive threat detection, early warning, and data-driven prioritization across the enterprise. ETI works in close partnership with Executive Protection to inform protective intelligence, travel risk assessments, executive risk posture, and response planning.
The Corporate Security Program Manager serves as the enterprise lead for the design, governance, and continuous evolution of corporate security programs, including the Executive Protection (EP) program and the External Threat Intelligence (ETI) program. This role operates at a strategic level, shaping long-term program direction, defining standards, and driving alignment across Corporate Security and key business partners.
This position is accountable for establishing program frameworks that enable scalable, intelligence-driven and data-informed security operations. The role ensures that intelligence outputs from ETI are effectively integrated into executive protection strategy, corporate security decision-making, and enterprise risk prioritization.
The role focuses on building the systems, processes, and governance structures that ensure consistent, effective program delivery across the enterprise, including the integration of threat intelligence, protective intelligence, and operational security functions.
The Program Manager partners closely with senior leadership to translate business priorities and evolving risk landscapes into actionable program strategies. This includes leveraging ETI insights and EP operational feedback to shape program direction, inform investment decisions, and continuously refine risk-based approaches to executive safety and corporate security.
Key areas of ownership include program strategy and maturity, governance and policy development, performance management and analytics, financial and resource planning, and the development of tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency, intelligence visibility, and decision-making.
This position is hybrid, working remotely and at the Oakland General Office based on business needs.

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity,specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be between the minimum and midpoint listed below. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Bay Area Mid: $168,000.00
Bay Area Max: $207,000.00
