What is an Expert Product – Card Issuance?

JazzCash is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Expert Product – Card Issuance to lead the development, enhancement, and management of JazzCash's card portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in card issuing, scheme engagement, tokenization, and emerging payment technologies.

This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end card product initiatives, managing relationships with payment schemes, launching new card products, and ensuring seamless integration with digital payment ecosystems such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

What does an Expert Product – Card Issuance do?

• Own the roadmap, lifecycle management, and performance of JazzCash-issued card products.
• Lead the launch of new debit, prepaid, virtual, and premium card products from concept to commercialization.
• Define product requirements, business cases, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies. Own the lifecycle of card features from ideation to implementation and post-launch stabilization.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, PRDs, process flows, API requirements, user stories, and operational documentation. Conduct thorough testing of card launches and resolve any bugs or issues.
• Manage scheme certifications, mandates, compliance requirements, and product approvals. Coordinate with scheme teams on new product launches, tokenization initiatives, digital wallet enablement, and value-added services.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enable provisioning, token lifecycle management, and card user journeys.
• Identify market opportunities and develop innovative card propositions to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be an Expert Product – Card Issuance?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in card issuing, payments, fintech, banking, or digital financial services.
• Strong understanding of cards issuing ecosystems, transaction flows, and scheme rules.
• Experience in managing product enhancements, feature rollouts, and payment product implementations.
• Knowledge of Mastercard, Visa, 1LINK, wallets, and alternate payment ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience in tokenization and digital wallet integrations.
• Ability to manage multiple product initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
