What is Platform Delivery / FTTx?
Platform Delivery / FTTx works with internal and external customers to provide technical consultancy, solution design, feasibility assessment and end-to-end service delivery for enterprise connectivity and digital infrastructure solutions. The portfolio includes, but is not limited to, Cloud, Data Center, Cybersecurity, M2M, IoT, Fixed Connectivity, 4G and FMC solutions across multiple sales channels.
The team engages enterprise, multinational, local corporate, SME and SoHo customers to understand business and technical requirements, develop customer solution narratives, and translate requirements into secure, highly available, scalable and operationally sustainable solutions. The team also ensures successful service delivery and customer acceptance.
Jazz B2B portfolio covers Cloud, Data Center, Security, long-haul and short-haul connectivity, last-mile solutions, Layer 2 and Layer 3 services, IP/MPLS, Internet, IoT and M2M. Platform Delivery / FTTx supports sales channels through timely technical solutioning, accurate costing, delivery governance and cross-functional coordination.
The role reports directly to the Stream Head Platform Delivery / FTTx.
What does Expert Platform Delivery / FTTx do?
• Work closely with regional sales teams and account managers to understand customer requirements and develop technically compliant, commercially viable and scalable solutions using standard portfolio products, integrated solutions or bespoke designs.
• Develop and review High Level Designs (HLDs), solution architecture, network topology, redundancy models, security considerations, technical write-ups, Bills of Quantity (BoQs), hardware requirements, consumables and associated solution costing.
• Perform technical feasibility assessments for enterprise connectivity, FTTx, IP/MPLS, Internet, Data Center, Cloud, Security, IoT and M2M opportunities.
• Coordinate with Bid Management and cross-functional teams for technical evaluation of RFPs, RFQs and tenders, preparation of compliance matrices, solution responses, assumptions, exclusions and risk identification.
• Work closely with Technology, Planning, Operations, Security, Cloud and Data Center teams to validate solution feasibility and ensure alignment with existing network architecture, standards, capacity and operational requirements.
• Provide expert technical guidance to internal stakeholders and support customer-facing technical workshops, solution presentations, design reviews and technical clarification sessions.
• Own technical delivery coordination for assigned strategic and high-profile customer projects from design validation through implementation, testing, service activation and customer acceptance.
• Identify delivery dependencies, technical risks, capacity constraints and implementation gaps, and drive timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Support fixed network planning and rollout activities for enterprise customers, including last-mile feasibility, fiber route coordination, access design and service readiness.
• Maintain technical documentation, solution records, implementation dependencies and delivery status for assigned opportunities and projects.
• Contribute to capability development of the wider team through technical knowledge sharing, design reviews, standard templates, reusable solution patterns and lessons learned.
Data Center and Cloud Delivery Responsibilities
• Assess Data Center infrastructure readiness, including rack space, power availability, cooling capacity, structured cabling, cross-connects and related deployment dependencies.
• Ensure that proposed and deployed solutions comply with Data Center standards, security controls, operational procedures and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Network teams for implementation, integration, testing and service activation.
• Support end-to-end delivery of hosting, colocation, private cloud, public cloud connectivity and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• Validate solution resiliency, redundancy, availability and SLA requirements before deployment and during service acceptance.
• Support capacity planning and forecast infrastructure requirements for upcoming Data Center and Cloud deployments.
• Act as the technical coordination point between Presales, Product, Technology, Delivery and Data Center Operations to ensure design-to-delivery alignment.
Key Deliverables
• Deliver accurate technical proposals, HLDs, BoQs, feasibility assessments and solution costing within defined turnaround times and agreed KPIs.
• Ensure technical quality, completeness and implementation feasibility of proposed enterprise solutions.
• Drive timely fulfilment of technical and delivery requirements for strategic and high-profile customers.
• Support sales channels in customer engagement by translating business requirements into technically sound solutions that enable revenue realization.
• Provide effective technical input for RFPs, RFQs and bids, including compliance review, technical risk identification and solution recommendations.
• Ensure Data Center readiness for planned deployments covering space, power, cooling, rack allocation, cabling and connectivity dependencies.
• Coordinate smooth implementation and service activation with Technology, Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, Security and other relevant teams.
• Ensure adherence to agreed SLA, availability, resiliency and operational acceptance requirements.
• Maintain effective stakeholder communication and provide clear visibility of technical risks, dependencies, blockers and mitigation actions.
• Provide field feedback to Product and Technology teams for service improvement, portfolio enhancement and development of new enterprise solutions.

Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Platform Delivery / FTTx?
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise solution design, service delivery, network engineering, FTTx, IP networking, Cloud, Data Center or related telecom and ICT domains.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed and Mobile networks, enterprise connectivity, IP/MPLS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 services, transmission networks, Internet services and last-mile technologies.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical experience in solution design, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting or delivery of enterprise network and ICT solutions.
• Practical experience with technologies and platforms from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei and Fortinet, with the ability to evaluate multi-vendor solution integration.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, IP addressing, VLANs, VRFs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, redundancy, high availability, firewalling and secure enterprise connectivity concepts.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, HCIP/HCIE, Fortinet certifications or equivalent Cloud and Data Center certifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of Data Center environments, including rack planning, power, cooling, structured cabling, capacity planning, hosting, colocation and cloud infrastructure deployment.
• Experience in coordinating with Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Network teams for end-to-end service delivery.
• Ability to translate Presales designs into practical, deployable and operationally sustainable solutions.
• Understanding of SLA management, service availability, resiliency, redundancy and business continuity requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex technical opportunities and delivery workstreams while maintaining quality and timelines.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio for technical documentation, analysis, solution diagrams and management presentations.
• Sound understanding of the telecom and enterprise ICT market, customer requirements and solution design practices.
