What is Expert Network Rollout?

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Expert Network Rollout to join our dynamic team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in cellular network deployment, hands-on experience in 2G, 4G, 5G technologies, RAN, Microwave, Fiber optics, Power , Solar systems, IBS, Repeaters, COWs, Capacity enhancement, and New Rollout (NRO) with multi-vendor expertise particularly with Huawei, ZTE, and Ericsson equipment and solutions.

What does Expert Network Rollout do?

This role is critical in leading the deployment, integration, and optimization of our expanding cellular network infrastructure. The candidate will oversee complex multi-site rollout projects, manage cross-functional teams, and drive operational excellence to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, network performance, and innovation across 2G, 4G, and 5G technologies

This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional passionate about implementing cutting-edge telecom technologies, with a proven track record in large-scale network deployments, stakeholder coordination, project governance, and driving continuous improvement across rollout, integration, transmission, and power domains.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Project Leadership:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale deployment projects for 2G, 4G, 5G RAN, MW, Fiber optics, Power/Solar systems, IBS, capacity upgrades, Hot/Cold swaps and NRO
• Oversee end-to-end project management, including PIP development, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and quality control
• Ensure timely and efficient deployment of new rollout sites (NRO) and capacity upgrade projects in collaboration with TowerCos, vendors and internal teams.

Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving network issues including VSWR faults, transmission alarms, zero-call scenarios, sector outages, site down cases, power issues and overall site availability challenges.

• Identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities in Power Solutions, RAN, and Transport Networks, Civil Works and implement optimization strategies.

1. Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with TowerCos, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders (RAN Planning, Optimizations, Transmission, Power, CRA, PMO, etc.) to align project goals and ensure successful delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.

• Develop and maintain real-time reporting dashboards using tools like Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor and report on project budgets, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure adherence to organizational goals.
• Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance against industry standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including deployment reports, project trackers, weekly reports, and ATP (acceptance) trackers

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Min. 5 years of hands-on experience in network deployment, preferably in a cellular network environment.
• Deep expertise in 2G, 4G, 5G technologies, RAN/MW deployment, fiber optics, power/solar systems, IBS, capacity upgrades, and NRO
• Proven experience in managing large-scale deployment projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data visualization tools like Power BI
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
